KJVActs 16:9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
Hello from Mexico! Yes, the Lord has a way of delaying plans and rerouting us. We are currently waiting for the paperwork to come through for us to head over to Colombia. We are waiting on the incorporation of our ministry there so that we can receive a letter of invitation. With that letter of invitation we can get our missionary visas into the country. In the meantime, we are here in Texcoco, Mexico, with a congregation that has been developing under Brother Robert Creech for the last six months. He has left to go work on the Panama book project. It seems that we are play musical chairs. The mission here in Texcoco is not ready to be alone, and there was a need for somebody to come. I was available! The idea is to train a man to pastor and establish a church. I would ask that you pray for us as we labor here. Our trip down was a wild affair since we were pulling a trailer behind a Dodge Caravan that was lent to us by my pastor. The trailer was riding low and does not have the clearance needed for speed bumps. We scraped many times, but we arrived safely on August 31st!
I asked for prayer about getting a Mexican passport in my last prayer letter. I find it ironic that I was working on getting that done, and now I am here in Mexico. I was unable to get an appointment at the Mexican embassy in Little Rock, Arkansas, before we left the States, and, therefore, was unable to get the passport. I will try to complete the process here in Mexico, which should be a lot easier.
I want to thank you for your prayers and support for our family as we serve the Lord! May God continue to bless you.
In Christ,
Michael Lea and family
