| KJV Psalm 52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. |
| Hello from Texcoco, Mexico. We are ministering here in Mexico until the Colombian government issues the ministry there legal status so that we can apply for a missionary visa to go help missionary William Aya in the work there. Please pray for Brother William during this time as he struggles to maintain the ministry in Colombia. The ministry is being limited right now, and William cannot extend farther without financial and physical help. We trust that the Lord is in control and that things will turn out as He desires. Meanwhile, things are going well here in Mexico. I continue to disciple 9 men that are growing and are excited about the discipleship process. They have not begun to apply what they are learning, and I am a little concerned. I think about how long it took for me to grow and be effective in the Lord’s work, so I will continue to be patient. I ask that you pray for: Juan Arellano, Jesus Arellano, Francisco Ilbeño, Teodoro Gómez, Julio Huerta, Fernando Maldonado, Osvaldo Pérez, Lino Piedras, and Christian Rocha. I lost one man due to a change in his work schedule, and I am hoping that he will start again soon. I am also going to start discipling another man soon. The congregation continues to have a lot of visitors. We just purchased 25 more chairs and most are already being filled. We are also in the process of setting up a print shop here. The congregation has purchased a small printing press and we are fixing up a space for it. I hope to start printing tracts and Bible correspondence courses soon. It should be exciting to start reaching out on a larger scale. I would ask that you keep praying for us as we try to raise up a pastor who will be able to continue the work here. We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving with missionary Dave Christenson and his wife Pat our neighbors five hours to the west. The fellowship was encouraging, and they gave us some literature and tracts which will be useful to us in the ministry here. As always we appreciate your prayers and support! May God continue to bless you! We appreciate you very much. In Christ, Michael Lea and Family |
